Nuneaton Town Directions and Meeting Pub

Chester visit Nuneaton Town on Saturday (November 23). They play at the Sperrin Brewery Stadium, which is further out of town than the former Manor Park home of Nuneaton Borough.

The Exiles are meeting at the Crown pub, which is close to the station at 10 Bond Street, CV11 4BX.

If you travel by train, it's around 1.5 miles to the ground from the station. It's probably best to share a taxi, but if you want to walk, the route from the station is below:

Leave the station and turn left along Regent Street and where the road forks keep to the right. At the traffic lights at the bottom turn left into Vicarage Street (A444 sign posted Attleborough/Bulkington). Keep going along this road passing a Police Station on your left. At the next roundabout with a Church on one corner turn left onto Church Street (B4114 towards Attleborough). Proceed along Church Street passing a park on your right and then going under a railway bridge. Go straight on at the mini roundabout into Attleborough Road, passing the Rugger Tavern on your right and then the Attleborough Arms on your left as the road becomes Highfield Road.

At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A4254 towards Hinckley (also signposted Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate). You will next pass the Crows Nest pub on your right and at the next roundabout take the first exit into Townsend Drive, the entrance to Liberty Way is a short distance down on the right.

If you are driving, directions for the ground at Liberty Way, Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV11 6RR, are as follows:

From the West & South:
Leave the M6 at Junction 3 and take the A444 towards Nuneaton. After passing the George Eliot Hospital on your left, continue towards Nuneaton Town Centre. On reaching a roundabout where over on your right you can see some arches of a railway bridge, turn right at this island (2nd exit) onto Avenue Road. Continue straight along this road going across one roundabout and then a second (with the Crows Nest pub on your right) and at the next roundabout turn left into Townsend Drive (signposted Nuneaton RFC/Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate). Then turn right into Liberty Way for the stadium.

From The North:
Leave the M1 at Junction 21 and take the M69 towards Coventry. Leave the M69 at Junction 1 and take the A5 towards Nuneaton/Tamworth. Cross over two roundabouts and after passing an Aldi supermarket on the right and the Longshoot pub on the left, take the next left at the traffic lights onto A47 towards Nuneaton.

At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4254 (signposted Coventry/Bedworth). Turn right at next roundabout into Townsend Drive and then right again into Liberty Way for the stadium.
